Thanks for gracing the site! I hope you don't take the content seriously, as I'm just having fun discovering these names. I just stumbled upon that phrase whilst searching for clues how you came up with "Minti."

About the Web 2.0 Validator, I know it was not meant to be taken seriously either - read closely how they actually chose the criteria! And personally, I think a higher score for a site tends to mean a lot more fluff than quality.

Anyway, good luck in your endeavor! Cheers!

Oh and I went through the Web 2.0 validator and we actually score 16/48 if the automatic system worked properly - not that getting a decent score is much punch on a list which includes "Mentions Dave Legg?" as one of its tests ;)

Thanks for the link to Minti. We were looking for a name that meant fresh and new to people but did not have any negative meanings for parents. Your translation to "I'm not that ugly on the inside" is actually the first time I have seen any meaning drawn out of the name beyond the sound being similar to Minty... We will be launching new features within a couple of weeks which should help re-evaluate the Web 2.0 validator score :) All the best. Matt - Minti Co-founder
